Card Tricks

I know card tricks, and some are needed with a deck made for them. I even change it all around, so you would never know where I got it from! >:D I have found ways to do my tricks without the instructions. It is not that hard!

How to Brother-Proof Anything in Your Home

Here lies the secrets you need to keep a sibling out of your belongings, and keep it that way, too.

Did you know that about 9 out of 10 times a sibling will want to get into your privacy? Are you willing to know how to avoid that?? You can do it! Here is the best I can get:

  • Many siblings usaully try to get their way out of trouble. Try to gather the main clues to prove their crime!
  • Yelling makes them do more, so don't yell. Try out a calm response, and if you want to tell, but can't, handle it by yourself.
  • LOCK IT ALL... Don't use keys. Voice activated and password-protected things will work better if they are kept secret.

I hope these are the right solutions...

The Haunted Library

Violet and her dog, Koko, decided to go to the library. That’s what caused chaos. Well, there was already chaos, but Violet and Koko didn’t have a clue about it. All they wanted was to get a book. Instead, they got an adventure free pack!!
“Koko, why don’t you sit over there by that plant- it looks like a Venus Fly trap,” Violet suggested. ”Arf?” Koko questioned.
Violet then walked away into the nonfiction section of the library, and then both of them screamed. Koko didn’t actually scream, but gave a large yelp. Violet saw a bubble monster that pops and sends deadly gases everywhere. Koko was peacefully sitting by the Venus Fly trap, and learned it didn’t hunger for bugs, but was hungry for people, and dogs.
Koko ran and learned that the plant monster could hop out of its pot and run around with its roots. To make matters worse, there were little green goblins running around trying to fetch intruders and boil them down.
The scared dog ran and jumped on top of one of the shelves. The goblins chased her as she hopped from aisle to aisle.
Violet was poisoned by the bubble monster, and was lying down on the cold, cold floor. Koko found her unconscious owner lying there, then the startled dog nursed Violet back to health.
The 11-year-old girl felt like her life on earth was about to end when the goblins took her and Koko away. They managed to escape, but ghosts started chasing them. “Let’s run to the women’s restroom, luckily these ghosts can’t phase through walls,” Violet said. “Wuff!” Koko called in agreement. They slammed the door of the restrooms shut on the ghosts with a wam!, and then Violet took some time to think. “Maybe if I put salt on them they’d go away!” she thought.
She had a salt pack in her pocket, so she then dumped on the ghosts. They all evaporated with a sizzle! or a crackle!.
All of a sudden, there was a mysterious voice shouting “Get out, get out!” It was a black cat by the exit of the library. “We’d love to!!” Violet exclaimed. “We’d really love too!!”
“Okay,” the cat said in a joyful manner. “Do you want to have a picnic?” the cat asked. “Well, Koko and I don’t let just don’t let any cat do this, but sure!” the girl answered. And, no one ever entered that library ever again.

Easter Tips

Tips I should remember the next time I set up an Easter egg hunt:
  • Hide the eggs that feel like something good is in them in hard to reach areas or places others don't expect to find them
  • ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS have boundries.
  • If a tense game is what people want, have a VERY large arena.
  • Only do egg hunts in places that have creaks and corners, along with tall spots and gaps all over.
  • Don't fill all the eggs with mostly gum, then people will think they did work for nothing.
  • Eggs should be able to be sorted into many groups and not have many of one color. (not proven)
  • To hide them better make sure they match their backround.

These tips should help with making egg hiding easier and more fun.

Series of Unfortunate Events

The best book series I know of is Series of Unfortunate Events, by Lemony Snicket. He wrote an autobiography, but I don't think it's a real one. It was found in the fiction section of the library I saw it in. I bet it's good either way.

There was a lot of interesting things in the Unfortunate Events books, and Mr. Snicket is my favorite author. He really made me feel like it was actually happening when I read it.

The titles he chose are catchy, and they brought my interest. I like "Ersatz Elevator" the most. The characters go down an elevator shaft! It's the best book in the series for sure! I may reread it, too.

The Baby and the Bubble

There is the bubble, and I am the baby
If I catch the bubble
Is a pure maybe
I chase it to the swings; but it flies over
I chase it all the way passed my dog Rover
I chase it up the hill to the sand
I almost get it in my hand!
And then pop!, oh brother.
Oh! My sister just blew another!

Projax

There's that one game adults played as children-jacks. Some people don't know it, but there's more now! ProJax is that same taste of fun but a different recipe. You collect colorful jacks of different sizes and shapes. It's cool! There are cards and rules, but bearly touching series 2. Check this game out- you'll really like it. So say bye to the metal jacks, and get your ProJax! (Is it really for pros???)

;)

Sites to Remember

Here are the sites I like the most:

http://www.lemonysnicket.com
http://www.squiglysplayhouse.com

At lemonysnicket.com it talks about a series of books I like:
A Series of Unfortunate Events

The books are great ones.

At Squigly's Playhouse there are games, activities, jokes, poems, and even mad libs. It's a great site for anyone who wants them selves or others to have computer fun on a child-appropriate site.

Go to http://www.kidsdomain.com, and then type in the search box "Easter online games". When the page fully loads, click on "Kids Domain-Easter Online Games". There will be a list of games to play, and I suggest you chose Mission Impossible. There's a stumping code at they end... But I got it, and if you want to complete the mission, go there.
